COVID-19 has had a significant impact on so many aspects of our every day lives, and in the world around us. As we transition and try to adapt to these new changes, our mental health is affected. What can we possibly do to manage these large, complex issues? As most therapists will tell you, you can only control yourself and not those things outside of yourself. That holds true here.
Establishing a daily routine for yourself important. Even if this new routine is both different and less engaging than before, there’s comfort in familiarity. Over time, completing these routine tasks will allow us to stay engaged in our goals that we set. What are your goals and expectations for yourself this year? Are you working toward them today?
